The father-son duo stormed inside the Taj Mahal on a balmy Sunday. The little boy ran towards the central pool and his father chased him.
‘Stop,’ the harried father screamed.
The boy paused and his eyes came across a placard – ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’
He asked his father about it.
‘Atithi Devo Bhava means that Guests are equivalent to God and we should treat them with the highest respect.’ His father said to which the boy nodded his head in agreement.
There was a loud babble of voices and a large mob surrounded a tall American citizen who was arguing with a taxi driver.
‘Oh my God! Look at that West Indian,’ the Father said to his son.
‘Where?’ the son asked.
‘Arey, see that Negro, blackie over there,’ he pointed and said,‘ so tall no.’
The little boy looked straight into his father’s eyes and recollected what his father said just minutes ago.

Parents often don’t practice what they preach. Also it’s true that we Indians tend to make rude statements about foreigners and forget what we’re supposed to be good at!
