The Times India recently glorified the Women Achievers in India by posting a collage of successful women on the very first page of their news daily.
‘Actress Deepti’s cleavage steals the show at the Bollywood Fame awards 2017,’ read the headlines on the second page of the Times India newspaper.

seriously that was too much by TOI. its not just TOI recently Amal clooney was described as – amal comes in high heels etc etc while she was fighting a human rights case!
That was not a fiction? I thought it was hypocrisy in fictional version of a newspaper. π But can expect it out of some newspapers in particular.
Wow what a powerful statement. This is something I have been thinking about too. You have brilliantly highlighted the issue.
TOI is the last thing people need to pick up if they want news π
TOI should be banned!
Eek! There is still so much mysogyny to be fought even here in the UK – it's seems very deeply entrenched in the psyche. Liz http://www.lizbrownleepoet.com Extraordinary women (please cut and paste my link – sadly Blogger boxes won't post my direct link with html, which makes me sad!)

Times of India and its puerile sexist writers are an embarrassment to journalists.

What more can you expect from Indian medua. They make it all sensational to grab eyeballs.
Media I meant π
These kind of news make the headlines and people read it happily! While the important issues are so seamlessly sidelined!

Such hypocrisy! It's high time the society takes a stand against moral policing!
That's true!
